
This art installation, created in 1999, stands on the Southeast side of Union Square.
Apparently, it is a clock, and the numbers constantly changing actually do mean something.
From what I can find, you read it first from the left, the first 6 numbers telling you the time, and then from right to left, the last six number telling you how long until midnight.
And as far as the 3 numbers in the between, I guess they're just random.
so... according to that way of reading the clock,
what time did I take the picture?
and how much time was left until midnight?
